PHM is an acronym for Proctor-Hermantown Mirage. The Varsity and JV program is a co-op between the two high schools. Their nick name is the “MIRAGE”. The high school team practice and play home games at the Proctor and Hermantown hockey rinks.
At the youth level, PHM is a co-op between Proctor, Twig and Hermantown areas. The youth teams are called the “JUNIOR MIRAGE”. At present the Junior Mirage draw players from a large area that includes both cities of Proctor and Hermantown, but also the program can receive players from the Twig Hockey Association. Twig Hockey rink is located about 15 miles west of the city of Duluth. The Junior Mirage have two 10U teams and one 12UA team and one 12UB team. The 14U aged girls compete on the high school JV team.
