The U14’s had a great weekend taking second place in the Grand Rapids tourney last weekend Jan. 30 Feb 1. The girls had to play 5 games of hockey over the weekend and they did such a nice job. They played:

Mirage vs Orono                5-2

Mirage vs Hastings           4-2

Mirage vs Sauk Rapids    2-1

Then they knew they needed to score a lot of goals in their 4th game to have a chance at getting into the championship because they were fighting for goal diff. with Wayzata and boy did they come through. They beat Prior Lake 7-1!

The girls lost in the championship to Roseau but girls fought hard and Samantha Lewis had 61 shots on net saving 57 of those!
